Since October 2004 we have undertaken a commitment to provide locally grown produce to our customers, collected directly from Kentish farms and without the involvement of third party hauliers.

 

Although many of our competitors claim to provide local produce many of the products sold by them, would have been purchased from the London markets. Yes these may have been grown in Kent but they would also have the encumbrance of many more food miles. At P K Produce because many of the products collected from Kent would have been done so “on route” the food miles associated would be minimal, the product will be fresher, the environment less polluted which make your greengrocer greener!
